Coyote number 4 removed from this backyard. When coyotes in the yard are a common sight, an aggressive trapping program needs to be deployed! This is exactly what we do, and we do it in a timely manner.
Another backyard Coyote we were called to remove. This one was from the Wayne County area. It was killing chickens and making the home owners uneasy with how bold it’s behavior had become.
New housing development in the Victor, NY area was having issues with a pack of very aggressive and bold coyotes. This Fox was an incidental catch. It was checked over and released back as it was not the target species in this situation. This is the beauty of modern traps! They simply hold the animal by the foot until we arrive. The animals are unharmed and able to be released if necessary.
Typical fox den site from under a residential shed. Lots of dead critters spread about. This makes for a very bad situation where the canines may try and protect the food cashes from humans. It also draws in other unwanted pests and animals.
This picture may look rural, however it is not very far from homes. The land owner hears them nightly and sees them often cutting through the yards. It took us less then 4 nights to connect with this one!
This is natures way of population control. Classic case of Mange. Such a horrible way for any animal to die.
When trying to make the perfect hunting property be it for deer, turkey, or small game; it is important to have that predator balance. In other words, have a program in place to control the Coyote and Fox population. We can help achieve those goals by providing trapping and removal of predators.
We were contracted to trap coyotes out of a hunting property in the Finger Lakes area. This property, like many others we see; was overrun with coyotes which in turn had been impacting the deer and turkey population.
A very strong and healthy coyote that was too close proximity to the house, pets, and kiddos. This one took 2 nights to grab in a trap.
Non target animals happen. Again with the use of these amazing modern traps, we simply check the animals over and let them go if they were not the intended species we were after. This fox got a free meal and off it went.
